Nielsen Homescan Panel

Several months ago I signed up for the nielsen home scan panel.  I had read a post somewhere and it peaked my interest.  After that I did not really give it much thought.  Well it turns out my household was accepted.  At first I was like O.K.  I received the scanner and my panelist ID today.  I was able to log into the website and look at what it was really about.  Basically, you scan your purchase from wherever you buy.  Today I scanned what I bought at Target and Kohls.  Once a week you transmit your info.  For every week that you transmit you get points.  They also have surveys online that you can get points for.  Then, they have a catalog that you can pick some really neat gifts from when you have enough points.  Currently they are accepting applications.  Go here to sign up!
