Being Frugal at its Best
This morning baby girl wanted to blow bubbles. Well guess what? We had no bubbles. So she asked me "Mommy can you buy some with your coupons?" I thought "Awww she is in training already" Well this made me think that for sure I could find a way to make home made bubbles on the internet. So I did a search on swagbucks and earned some bucks!! Yay!! I found a website that had several recipes. This is the one I used:
Cyndi's Bubble Recipes
from the Nathan's Wish web site
1/2 cup of dishwashing liquid (Dawn or Joy)
2 cups of water
2 teaspoons of sugar
Cyndi suggests adding a dab of food coloring for colorful bubbles. Mix the solution and place in a shallow pan (or refill your old bubble containers).I then placed it in the empty container baby girl had.
It worked really well. I was surprised. I have discovered that being frugal is more than clipping coupons and saving money. It is using the resources you have to work for you. I also want to thank all the people that take the time out of their schedules to post recipes or deals or hairdos or whatever. It might be something you think no will ever use or look at but you do it anyway. And I am very thankful for that. I have learned and taught myself so much via the internet. So once again thanks!
