Coupon Tips

Where my coupons come from.
I buy three Sunday papers every Sunday morning at the $ .99 store. I use enough coupons that it pays off for me.
I use printable coupons at stores that accept them. Here are some sites

How I organize and use them
Whenever I get a Sunday paper, I cut out the few coupons that I will use for sure. Then I take the full inserts that are left put the date on the front with a sharpie and file them in a dated file. I strongly recommend you read more about this at www.couponmom.com. This site also has a coupon database. If you are looking for a coupon you just enter a keyword and it will list all the current coupons along with the dates they were issued.

Must know coupon tips
  1. Store coupons and manufacturer coupons can be combined to get the best deal. Target is awesome for this!
  2. If you do a mail in rebate and use a coupon, you still get the price before coupon mailed back to you. Making you a profit.
  3. Buy one get one free sales(BOGO). If the store has a sale like this, and you find a manufacturer coupon for the same deal, then BOTH items are free as long as they are the same price. Example: Maybeline buy one get one free sale at CVS, and a Maybeline buy one get one free manufacturer coupon in the Sunday paper. CVS pays for one free, Maybeline take the hit for the other. You pay nothing! Also, if there is a BOGO and you have 2 coupons use them both. For example the Mascara cost $3.49 and is BOGO . You have two $1.00 off coupons. Use them both and pay $1.49 for two mascaras.
